BEST VS. DESERVING

BEST is Verdict's team strength ranking. DESERVING is the projected-wins ranking — the two rankings the Record Test already publishes, argued against each other. Preseason, DESERVING can only be the case a schedule will let a team build — projected wins, not earned ones. The earned version arrives Week 1, once there are results to weigh.
